The HEX3 Loudspeakers are designed to reproduce instruments and voices in a way that traditional box speakers simply cannot. The unique design of the HEX3 loudspeaker has several key features:


  1. The HEX3 15" bass driver is really fast offering attack & decay just like a real instrument. Once you've heard open baffle bass that is textured & visceral, it is really hard to return to boxy bass.
  2. The HEX3 high quality 8" paper coned midrange driver delivers clarity & deep sound staging that instantly engages the listener drawing them further into the recording.
  3. The HEX3's carefully chosen horn loaded ribbon tweeter creates air and sparkle to enhance the sonic experience.
  4. The HEX3 uses a bespoke external resin potted crossover utilising high quality components that are implemented in a way that gets the very best from the drivers. Unlike many box speakers there is nowhere to hide inferior parts on the HEX3's external crossover, instead we celebrate the brains of the speaker in all its glory.
  5. The HEX3 is a compact floor-standing loudspeaker that can easily be tuned to the room by simply making small placement adjustments. The dipole radiation pattern (see FAQ) means that side reflections are minimised to make placement easy.
  6.     The HEX3 is a easy to drive loudspeaker delivering a big sound even from low output amplification such as valves. The HEX3's don't require huge power but they do deserve quality.
  7. The HEX3's contemporary looks aren't just skin deep. Each driver is physically time aligned to produce a beautifully coherent sound.
  8. All three baffles are construction using a multi material constrained layer dampened process to aid vibration dissipation (see FAQ).
  9. The HEX3 rear 10mm solid steel geometric rear frame is both structural and aesthetically pleasing.  The frame serves to mount all  three baffles which are then in turn decoupled from each. This method minimising the transference of energy between drivers.  All HEX3 speakers come with a set of matching HEX sorbathane floor isolator feet.
  10. Compact dimensions at just 84cm tall, 54cm wide, 25cm deep

The HEX3 Loudspeaker is only available directly from us the manufacturer. Each speaker is painstakingly handmade here in the UK at our premises in Leeds.
